What We Don't Allow
- Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
- Hate speech, discrimination, or offensive content
- Spam, self-promotion, or commercial advertising without permission
- Sharing others' personal information without consent
- Intentionally spreading false or misleading information
- Illegal content or advice promoting illegal activities
- Multiple accounts to manipulate votes or evade bans
- Posting content that violates others' intellectual property
- Trolling or deliberately disrupting discussions
- Sharing login credentials or attempting to access others' accounts
Q&A Guidelines
Asking Questions
- Search first to avoid duplicate questions
- Use a clear, descriptive title
- Provide relevant context and details
- Choose the correct topic category
- Be specific about what you need help with
Answering Questions
- Only answer if you have relevant knowledge or experience
- Provide sources or references when possible
- Be clear about what is fact vs. personal opinion
- Update your answer if you learn new information
- Avoid repeating what others have already said
Voting
- Upvote content that is helpful, accurate and well-written
- Downvote content that is unhelpful, inaccurate, or off-topic
- Don't vote based on personal disagreement with opinions
- Report content that violates guidelines instead of just downvoting
Marketplace Guidelines
- • Be honest and accurate in your listings
- • Include clear photos and descriptions
- • Respond promptly to inquiries
- • Meet in safe, public places for exchanges
- • Report suspicious listings or scams immediately
- • Don't post illegal items or services
- • Remove listings once items are sold/fulfilled
- • Price items fairly - no price gouging
Enforcement
We take violations seriously to maintain a safe community. Consequences depend on the severity and frequency of violations:
- Warning: First-time minor violations
- Content Removal: Posts that violate guidelines
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated or serious violations
- Permanent Ban: Severe violations or repeated offenses
